We neither carry any banner or button advertisements nor publish any external links.
We do not go for sponsorships too. Our newsletter readers pay us, so they don’t expect any advertisements. Our sole revenue is from customized content.
For your info: Our research says that generalization and conventional methods would not working in the industry segments that we cover. Our research shows that the value of the service or product lies in novelty, in high focus on expert knowledge and the possibility to network (and initiate deals) and learning.
If you are targeting the executives in the industry, you don’t need the usual type of marketing and advertising. There should only be a tailor-made approach. You will need an innovative and strategically systemic approach to reach the deeper mind of the reader.
Hence we have a unique option for “advertorial”.
An advertorial will look like a news story (editorial), but it will convey the message to the readers. Our readership research shows that advertorial in the form of news story (feature or report) has much more effect on readers than that from any form of advertisements. If we publish good stories, it commands more credibility than advertisement.
However, there is one limiting factor – not for you, but for us – that we cannot carry more than 2-3 advertorials in a week, as readers won’t accept lot of “planted” stories. Hence our revenue stream becomes limited. Still, we strike a balance and thrive for credibility – readers get 70-80 % of pure editorial and 20-30 % advertorial and no advertisements. All are happy.
We don’t have a fixed rate for advertorial. It depends upon the client’s requirement, approach to the reader and strategy that we develop after a discussion. It has to be tailor-made for individual clients. Many clients give us repeat order. The content of the story will be discussed and if necessary our editorial team will develop content for you or we will publish whatever you provide as a story – as you like it.
Advertorial is an advertisement in disguise, but it will be read as a story or feature or report.
Advertorial should answer some questions: -
What is the service/product that you would like to offer to global customers/clients?
Or do you want to send across a corporate, image building message?
Are there any specific readers (read market) that you aim to reach?
Our idea is that the executives (or entrepreneurs) should read the story and should be convinced about your solutions or service – that’s important. An advertisement won’t help you in this regard.
