China Carbon Trade Summit 2009 to be held in Beijing in April

The China Carbon Trade Summit 2009 will be held in Beijing on April 1 and 2. Participants include the president of International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), the chairman of the CDM Executive Board of the United Nations, the vice president of the Chicago Climate Exchange and senior carbon market specialists from the Carbon Finance Unit of the World Bank will come together with officials of the Chinese government and Chinese experts. Beijing offers 1 bln yuan to get high-emission vehicles off road
